Photography by Tapu JaveriI am always insanely pleased when I am blindly trusted. When I am blindly trusted to be the only person to get someone ready for public appearances then its even more exciting. When you are someone in the media spotlight and many others hands have transformed you and you still choose me, loyalty like that is flattering in the extreme.
Tanya Shafi Khan is one such client, who will actively make my involvement in a project a condition to her participation. Now while we are family, I do think that I see a beauty and natural glow in Tanya's face and eyes that I feel others miss, I also know how to handle her hair (whose silkiness and divine weight have defeated many). She seems to think so too and thus the development of this monogamous styling realtionship. And it was through this relationship, that has stretched across a decade or so, that I found my work walking down the ramp at the recent Fashion Pakistan Week ( a beautifully organised event). Tanya returned to the catwalk after a hiatus of 3 years in a special appearance at Deepak Perwani's show. And of course I got to style her!
It was my privilege and pleasure to be involved in this nostalgic moment and as you can see, she had a blast! (Ever so elegantly obviously...)

Wow!
She looks beautiful as always!
She always looks stunning! But awesome job at styling!
You have no idea how excited I was to see Tanya on the ramp-clapped like a woman possessed!!! She is beautiful!
Blind trust is a lot to ask for IMO. you should have a bit of humility to let others guide you in their comfort zone as well. It wasnt pleasant to read about how wonderful it feels to be God.
i don't get the trend of being nasty to be smart. maybe my reading skills have eroded, but 'IMO' Bina hasn't written or referred to anything that makes her sound vaguely God-like. She has candidly expressed her happiness at her client's confidence in her services, which is something that service-providers SHOULD aim for, surely.
and what's the point if you're going to remain anonymous.
In local parlance "Don't Jallous!" miss anonymous
